The Players: Eric Fischvogt
Top seeded USCF Life Master and Correspondence Master Eric Fischvogt is the pre-tournament favorite in this year’s Michigan Correspondence Championship. “Coach Fisch” plays frequently in West Michigan tournaments, helps our local “chess kids,” and is a frequent contributor to WestMichiganChess.com. Fisch has a tough style to meet--one game he's doing a Nimzowitsch Death Squeeze, the next he's jettisoning pawns in a raucous Pirate gambit.
