 Tournament Report

June 2010 Calvin
Tournament Report

Congratulations to both Bill Fuller for winning the open section, to Tim Clark and Joel Halloran for topping the reserve, and to Joshua Posthuma, who won the scholastic with a perfect 5 out of 5.

Worth noting:  after a two year break from tournament chess, Joel Halloran posted back-to-back outstanding weekends at the Chicago Open then the June Calvin, and his rating jumped from 1214 to 1429.  Like Tim Clark, Joel seems quickly destined for the top section.
