October 2009 Traverse City Swiss
The tournament was held at Greg Bailey's place in Mesick. Here is an excerpt from TD Joe Meyer's report on the Michigan Chess Forum:
Our tournament was well attended with eight players, five of which were 1600+! Duane Croel took first with a perfect 4-0 including wins over Greg Bailey(1945) and yours truly Joe Meyer(1769). I took second with 3-1 and third was half the field with 2-2. The event had many sharp fighting games...Congrats again to Duane, I'm looking forward to exacting my revenge at our next event (hopefully).
