Our site’s goal is to combine the local relevancy of a well-written small town newspaper with the interactivity of Web 2.0 tools. We want content quality that approaches that on chessbase.com or chesscafe.com, with interactivity approaching that of chesslecture.com or chessvibes.com.
What we’re about:
(1) Showcasing the games and analysis of West Michigan Chess players,
(2) Promoting West Michigan chess events,
(3) Providing improvement tools for chess players and chess educators.
What we’re not about. Chess gossip and chess politics. These are of interest to many chess players but can be found elsewhere. We’re not passing judgment here, just declaring these are out of scope for our site.
