2011 Report

Trophies will be awarded to the four top ranking chess players in each separate division:

  • High School Division (Grades 9-12)
  • Middle School Division (Grades 6-8)
  • Upper Elementary School Division (Grades 4-5)
  • Lower Elementary School Division (Grades K-3)
Lakeshore
The Chess Tournament will be held at the Ludington High School Cafeteria on Saturday, March 19, 2011. Registration for all participating chess players will be held Saturday starting at 9 o'clock in the morning. The chess games will start promptly at 10 o'clock.

The CHESS TOURNAMENT play will continue on a TIMED SCHEDULE basis, three games before lunch, then two games after lunch, until five scheduled games have been completed in a round robin format. The winners in each class will be announced after the completion of all tournament match play in the afternoon.
